Something a little different from the normal log cabin. Each of the log cabin strips is pleated which results in a textured effect and a very watm quilt with little or minimal quilting required. This project is made entirely from 2 ½” strips of fabric so if you have purchased on of those jelly rolls of fabric recently this is a good project to use it on.

Oriental style table runner that you can make as long or short as you want (depending on how much fabric you have) This runner will look great in that Oriental fabric you bought and now don’t know quite what to do with. Would also look good in batiks.

10am – 4pm CLASSIC TULIPS QUILT

This appliquéd features a traditional tulip design. The repeated tulip blocks in the centre are off set with a border featuring further tulips, swags and corner ribbons. The bold colour scheme adds a comtemporary twist to a classic design.

Take some of the cutting out of the process of sewing your favaourite patchwork quilts by using pre cut fabric bundles.tak advantage of these 5” squares 2 ½” strips and more. By using two especially handy rotary rulers you can sew many traditional blocks as well as lots of new ones! In the class we cut and sew a variety of blocks, that can then be put together in a sampler style quilt, or use them in repeat block quilts.
