WINTER & SPRING CLASSES for 2010

10am-4pm UFO CLASS
A goo A good class to dig down in the boxes and find projects you had forgotten about!
Bring along any odd blocks or unfinished projects preferably ones you have had for a long time and are at a loss what to do with them and Fiona will help you decide how to finish them off.

Saturday 6th February
10am-4pm INTERCONNECTING LINES
This quilt is machine pieced and is full of interconnecting lines which move over and under each other. Bali scraps have been used for this quilt with a dark background . But would work well with a light background with random scraps or with a colour theme.

Saturday 6th March
10am-4pm LUCIOUS LANDSCAPES
A fun day making these little landscapes using freezer paper method of construction. Followed by couching ribbons and cords they are machine and hand quilted. With embroidery and beading. Best of all they are completed in a day. Two designs to choose from or design your own.

10am-4pm BITS AND PIECES
On this day using Honey Bun rolls or small strips of fabric. Fiona will be showing you how to use them to make a table centre and needle case etc.,

10am -4pm EIGHT POINTED STARS
No sewing machines today.
Spend the day hand sewing this lovely star quilt. some of you have seen it before and have asked to be shown how it is made so now is your chance.

10am – 4pm SCRAPPY STARS
A lovely star quilt using a Jelly Roll and Easy Angle ruler.

Saturday 24th April
10am-4pm MACHINE QUILTING
A chance to learn or improve your machine quilting techniques trying many designs that can be used on your quilts at a later date.

Saturday 22nd May
10am – 4pm MYSTERY QUILT
Not a lot I can say about this except you will make a series of blocks and at the end of the day the design will be revealed.

Also - Fiona gave a class a few weeks ago making a very quick and easy bag. As this wasn’t on my last
class list I was not able to let everyone know.
If anyone would be interested in this class then It would be nice to run it again please let me know.
